| Popis líce | Central field features an ornate crowned interlaced cypher, likely the initials of Count Karl Ludwig of Dietrichstein, enclosed within a cartouche of elaborate scrollwork and foliate ornaments. A noble coronet surmounts the monogram, flanked by decorative flourishes and scrolling acanthus-style foliage on either side. The denomination numeral '2' appears at the base of the central device. The coin is bordered by a bold toothed or milled rim encircling the entire design, with a wreath-like decorative band visible just inside the rim at the upper portion of the field. |

The Dietrichstein were a Moravian noble family who held comital minting rights as a privilege of the Holy Roman Empire — one of hundreds of such grants that cluttered German-speaking Europe with small-denomination billon fractions well into the eighteenth century. Karl Ludwig, Count of Dietrichstein, issued this piece under rights that were already anachronistic by 1731, as Habsburg centralization was steadily eroding the practical minting authority of minor nobility.
