The script is archaic Brahmi, consistent with inscriptions attributable to the Naga rulers of Narwar (ancient Padmavati region) dating to approximately the 3rd–4th century CE. The surface displays a green patina with areas of cuprite, attesting to age and burial. Individual aksharas are clearly distinguishable despite the irregular flan. |
