正面描述	Central quartered shield displaying the arms of the Imperial abbeys of Murbach and Lüders combined with those of the House of Austria, surmounted by a cardinal's hat with pendant tassels and flanked by decorative foliate ornaments. The escutcheon is set within a plain inner circle against a flat field. A continuous Latin legend surrounds the shield, reading ANDR CARD AB AVST MVRB ET LVTR ADMI, identifying Andreas of Austria as Cardinal and Administrator of Murbach and Lüders. The coin is struck within a beaded outer border typical of late sixteenth-century South German hammered coinage.
