正面描述 Central field occupied by a quartered heraldic shield displaying the combined arms of the Imperial Abbeys of Murbach and Lüders, supported on either side by rampant bears as shield-bearers. The shield is surmounted by an abbatial mitre with lappets. The whole composition is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the circular Latin legend reading +IOES+RDV.D.G.MVRBAC+ET.LVTREN+AB, identifying Abbot John Rudolph by the grace of God of Murbach and Lüders. The engraving reflects the characteristic bold relief style of 16th-century German ecclesiastical coinage.

背面描述 Central device depicts the Imperial double-headed eagle of the Holy Roman Empire, with wings spread and both heads crowned beneath a single imperial crown, bearing on its breast a orb inscribed with the denomination numeral 30, indicating the coin's value of 30 Kreuzer. The surrounding circular Latin legend reads MAXIMILIANI+IMP+AVG+P+F+DECRETO 68, invoking the authority of Emperor Maximilian II and citing the imperial decree under which the coin was struck, with the date (15)68 incorporated into the legend. The design is executed in the vigorous hammered style typical of South German coinage of the period.
