Iliаș I ruled Moldavia only briefly before being deposed by his brother Stephen II in 1433, making this issue among the shortest-lived in the medieval Moldavian series. The R6 rarity designation in Kopicki reflects genuine scarcity — not simply low survival rates, but an exceptionally compressed window of production measured in months rather than years.
