The design is enclosed within a double beaded circle. The coin exhibits the characteristic irregular flan and uneven strike typical of mid-14th-century hammered silver coinage of Aquitaine. |

The design is framed by a beaded inner border and an outer beaded rim, with the legend running continuously between the two. The flan is notably clipped or broken at the lower right, consistent with the irregular planchets common to hammered coinage of this period. |
