| 正面描述 | A heraldic shield occupies the central field, bearing a cross in the middle register with a star positioned beneath it. A second cross appears above, and the letter 'S' is placed to the left. A horizontal bar is visible in the lower-left portion of the shield. The design is characteristic of Moldavian hammered coinage of the mid-fifteenth century, with irregular flan and variable relief. |

Moldavia's mid-15th century coinage remains one of the least-documented series in Eastern European numismatics, with many issues still unattributed to specific voivodes despite decades of specialist study. The reign bracket here spans a period of considerable dynastic turbulence — between 1432 and 1457, Moldavia cycled through multiple rulers, several of whom met violent ends in succession conflicts with rival claimants backed variously by Poland and Hungary. That instability is precisely why attribution fails: die-link studies are hampered by small surviving populations and inconsistent documentary records from Suceava.
MBR#603d places this piece within a recognized typological grouping without resolving the issuer question.
