| Beschrijving voorzijde | Within a beaded inner circle, a heraldic double-tailed lion rampant to the left, rendered in the bold Gothic style characteristic of mid-14th-century Low Countries coinage. The lion's bifurcated tail is prominently displayed, with the mane and body details struck in high relief typical of hammered silver. A circular legend in uncial Latin script surrounds the inner circle, separated by a pellet or annulet stop. The overall field shows the irregular flan characteristic of hand-cut hammered blanks of the period. |
