| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features the heraldic lion of Flanders rampant, depicted facing left with a crowned head, rendered in the Gothic style characteristic of 14th-century Flemish coinage. The lion is shown with raised forelegs and a curling tail, set within a beaded inner circle.
