| Descrizione del dritto | Central shield bearing a crowned rampant lion passant to the left, executed in relief against a flat field. The shield is enclosed within two concentric pearled circles, between which runs the circular Latin legend in uncial characters. The heraldic lion device reflects the arms of the lordship of Leuven, rendered in the bold, somewhat simplified style typical of Low Countries hammered coinage of the late 13th century. |

Two concentric circular legends in uncial Latin characters fill the annular space between the inner and outer pearled borders, the outer legend bearing a devotional invocation. The composition follows the standard reverse arrangement of contemporary Low Countries deniers grossi, with the cross serving as both a religious symbol and a structural design element. |
