The quadrants formed by the cross are plain. An inner legend band carries portions of the rulers' titles, while the outer legend band, separated by a beaded border, continues the full titulature of Joanna and Wenceslas in Gothic Latin characters. The overall design follows the standard gros tournois-derived type widely adopted in the Duchy of Brabant during the late 14th century. |
