Reverse description Central field features a bold voided cross pattée within a beaded inner circle, the arms of the cross extending to the inner ring in the style of contemporary Low Countries gros coinage. The quadrants formed by the cross are plain. An inner legend band carries portions of the rulers' titles, while the outer legend band, separated by a beaded border, continues the full titulature of Joanna and Wenceslas in Gothic Latin characters. The overall design follows the standard gros tournois-derived type widely adopted in the Duchy of Brabant during the late 14th century.
