| Obverse description | Draped bust of Philip II facing right, with flowing hair, set within a circular Latin legend. A rectangular countermark of the Zeeland arms — depicting a rampant lion emerging from waves — is applied in the left field, struck over the original Brabant design. The bust is rendered in the characteristic late-medieval hammered style, with visible fabric folds across the shoulder and chest. The peripheral legend reads DOMINVS MIHI ADIVTOR, partially visible around the irregular flan edge. |

| Reverse description | Centrally placed quartered royal shield of Philip II as Duke of Brabant, surmounted by an elaborate imperial crown with arched bands. The escutcheon displays the quartered arms of Castile and Leon in the upper quarters, and the arms of Aragon and Granada in the lower quarters, rendered in bold hammered relief. The shield is set within a decorative cartouche with foliate or scroll surround. The circumferential Latin legend, partially legible around the irregular flan, identifies Philip by his royal and ducal titles. |
