Obverse description Draped bust of Philip II facing right, with flowing hair, set within a circular Latin legend. A rectangular countermark of the Zeeland arms — depicting a rampant lion emerging from waves — is applied in the left field, struck over the original Brabant design. The bust is rendered in the characteristic late-medieval hammered style, with visible fabric folds across the shoulder and chest. The peripheral legend reads DOMINVS MIHI ADIVTOR, partially visible around the irregular flan edge.
