Flanking the vignette are two large quatrefoil guilloche medallions bearing the Chinese character 半分 (half fen), while the bank title 中國聯合準備銀行 appears in Chinese characters across the upper field below the issuer's circular emblem. Two red square official seals are impressed in the lower centre, and red block serial numbers 〈25〉 appear at upper left and upper right. |

An ornate scrollwork border with foliate corner ornaments frames the composition. |
