| 裏面の説明 | Central shield bearing the arms of Valencia — a crowned coat of arms displaying the characteristic diagonal bars — flanked on either side by the assayer's initials 'L L' positioned in the left and right fields respectively. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with a partial circular legend running along the periphery of the irregularly shaped flan. The date 1688 appears within the reverse legend, as was customary for Valencian hammered gold coinage of the period. |
