| Opis rewersu | An oval crowned shield bearing the arms of France, consisting of three fleurs-de-lis arranged two over one, positioned centrally in the field and flanked on either side by a symmetrical spray of olive branches. The crowned escutcheon is rendered in fine detail, with the crown displayed prominently above. The surrounding legend SIT NOMEN DOMINI BENEDICTUM, a biblical phrase meaning 'Blessed be the name of the Lord', encircles the design, with the date 1785 incorporated into the legend. The Pau mint's cow privy mark appears in the exergue below the shield. |
