| Obverse description | Central shield bearing the diagonal band (bend sinister) of the Utrecht arms, surmounted by a mural crown with elaborate foliate finials. The shield displays a flat top characteristic of the Utrecht provincial heraldic tradition. The entire device is rendered in high relief against a plain field, with the serrated border of the coin visible at the periphery. |
