The entire design is rendered in the characteristic flat, linear hammered style of Arab-Sasanian provincial coinage, with Pahlavi inscription 'AFZWT' ('Be it increased') appearing in the field. |

The composition is enclosed within a beaded inner circle and an outer plain border, with Pahlavi legends flanking the altar to left and right identifying the mint and date. Crescent and star symbols appear in the margins. The overall style closely follows late Sasanian drachm prototypes, rendered in hammered silver with characteristic flat relief. |
