| 背面描述 | The reverse field carries a multi-line Arabic religious legend in interlaced Naskh script, presenting the Islamic shahada 'La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad rasul Allah' in the upper portion, with the mint and date formula 'Duriba bi-San'a' sana 946' in the lower register. The entire inscription is encircled by a prominent beaded border closely following the irregular, roughly decagonal outline of the hammered flan. The strike is uneven, as is characteristic of hand-struck Yemeni silver of this period, with areas of weakness in the periphery. The flat field surrounding the legend shows natural patination and surface texture consistent with circulated silver coinage of AH 946 / AD 1539. |
