The legend 'البنك المركزي التونسي' (Central Bank of Tunisia) arcs along the upper periphery in Arabic script. The date 1968 in Western numerals appears along the lower rim, flanked by a pair of symmetrical foliate ornamental devices. The plain field and bold lettering give the reverse a clean, formal character consistent with Monnaie de Paris piedfort issues of this period. |
