| Opis rewersu | The reverse is dominated by a central vignette of the spiral minaret of Samarra (Malwiya), rendered in fine engraved linework with the surrounding fortified walls visible at its base. An ornate arched mihrab panel appears to the left of the minaret. The denomination numeral '1/2' appears at upper right and lower right within decorative cartouches, and the issuer name and denomination are lettered in English across the top and bottom margins respectively. |
