| Beschrijving keerzijde | The denomination HALF DIME is inscribed in two lines at the center of the field, enclosed within an open wreath composed of corn, wheat, oak, and maple branches tied at the base with a bow. The wreath opens at the top where the branches cross. The mint mark, when present, appears below the bow at the base of the wreath. The design is surrounded by a beaded border, with the entire composition executed in high relief characteristic of mid-nineteenth century American coinage. |
