In the upper right field, a smaller secondary circular stamp with beaded border displays what appears to be the Zierikzee town mark. Below the central shield, the date 1575 is rendered in a decorative cartouche with foliate flourishes. The overall execution reflects the crude but purposeful workmanship characteristic of siege coinage. |
