Reverse description Composite heraldic shield, curved at top, displaying the quartered coat of arms of the Bronckhorst-Batenburg lordship, surmounted by two crested helmets with elaborate lambrequins. The arms are rendered in the heraldic style characteristic of late 16th-century Dutch seigneurial coinage. A circular Latin motto legend surrounds the central device, contained within the coin's field. The overall composition is typical of the armorial reverses found on half-daalder issues of the Dutch independent lordships.
