| Obverse description | Imperial double-headed eagle displayed, with both heads crowned and facing outward, bearing on its breast a quartered heraldic shield with the arms of Nijmegen. The eagle's wings are spread and rendered in detailed relief, filling the central field. The whole device is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the circular Latin legend running along the outer border. |
