背面描述	Central device consists of a large fractional numeral '1/2' above the word 'CENT' in bold serif lettering, all enclosed within a continuous inner beaded circle. The issuer's name 'STRAITS SETTLEMENTS' arcs along the upper periphery outside the beaded circle, while the date '1932' appears below the beaded circle at the base of the design. The overall composition is well-centred within the square flan with rounded corners, and the field between the beaded border and the square edge is plain.
