| Descrizione del dritto | A crowned Gothic castle with three towers contained within a six-lobed (sexfoil) inner circle, rendered in the late medieval Castilian style typical of the reign of Enrique IV. The central tower rises above two flanking turrets, each battlemented, with the whole composition occupying the field in bold relief. A Latin legend encircles the design between the inner sexfoil border and the outer rim, reading ENRICVS DEI GRAC, attributing royal authority by divine grace. The flan is irregular in shape, as characteristic of hammered billon coinage of this period. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | A rampant lion passant, facing left, enclosed within a six-lobed (sexfoil) inner circle, rendered in the bold and somewhat schematic style of mid-fifteenth-century Castilian hammered coinage. The lion's mane and musculature are indicated by incised lines, and the figure fills the central field of the sexfoil. A Latin circumscription encircles the design between the inner border and the coin's irregular rim, reading ENRICVS CARTVS REX, identifying Henry IV as king. The strike is typical of the period, with uneven flan edges and variable relief across the surface. |
