| Descrizione del rovescio | Octagonal hammered gold reverse displaying a two-line Devanagari inscription recording the regnal date and the ruling authority of the Ahom kingdom, separated by a central horizontal line dividing the field into two registers. The characters are boldly incuse in the primitive script style common to Assamese gold coinage of the late eighteenth century. Dot ornaments punctuate the field, and the flan exhibits the characteristic uneven surface of a hand-struck issue. The overall design follows the standard epigraphic format of Ahom mohur fractions. |
