The dexter half of the shield incorporates the Polish eagle and Lithuanian mounted knight, while the sinister half bears the distinctive Barry of ten Or and Sable with a crancelin of Saxony. Mint-master initials FWoE appear beneath the shield in the lower field. The circumferential legend in Latin reads D G FRID AUG REX POL EL SAX, identifying the issuer as Frederick Augustus by the Grace of God, King of Poland and Elector of Saxony. |
