背面描述 Central shield bearing the arms of Jersey — three leopards passant guardant in pale — occupying most of the field and rendered in bold relief. The date is divided either side of the lower shield, flanking the charge. A beaded inner border encircles the shield. The upper legend reads STATES·OF·JERSEY and the lower legend ONE·TWELFTH·OF·A·SHILLING, together forming a complete circular inscription denoting the issuing authority and denomination.

附加信息

Jersey's coinage has always operated on its own idiosyncratic denominational system — the island divides the shilling into twelfths rather than the twelve pence of sterling, a relic of the old French sol system that persisted long after the mainland abandoned it. The 1923–1926 issue was struck at the Royal Mint during a period when Jersey's coin orders were modest enough to be slotted between larger Commonwealth commissions.

KM#14 saw no significant mintage changes across the two dates in the series. Die alignment on these pieces is occasionally erratic, a known characteristic of the type rather than an error.
