The shield is enclosed within a double pearled circle, between which runs a continuous Latin legend in uncial characters identifying the two rulers. The heraldic design is rendered in the flat, stylized manner typical of mid-14th-century hammered billon and silver coinage from the Meuse region. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A pattée cross with splayed, decorative terminals occupies the central field, its four quarters each charged with a crown, referencing the royal dignity of the issuing authority. The cross and crowns are contained within a double pearled circle, between which runs a continuous Latin legend in uncial characters naming the mint of issue. The overall composition follows the standard reverse type employed on small denomination silver coinage of the Luxembourg-Bar convention of the 1340s. |
