| Obverse description | Central design depicts a panoramic view of the fortified harbor and town of Muscat, showing multi-storied buildings, fortifications, masts of sailing vessels, and rocky coastal terrain rendered in fine relief. Small dhows are visible on the water in the lower field. In the lower central field, the denomination '1/12 ANNA' and the Hijri date '1311' appear as an incuse legend. The circular Latin legend around the periphery reads 'IMAUM OF MUSCAT & OMAN SULTAN FESSAL BIN TOORKY', separated by small dots, all within a beaded border. |

| Reverse description | Central field bears a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged within an ornate foliate wreath formed by two palm or olive branches tied at the base, giving the ruler's full titles and lineage. A small rosette or floral ornament appears at the top of the wreath. The Arabic text reads: 'إمام مسقط وعمان / السلطان فيصل بن تركي / بن سعيد بن سلطان / ١٣١١', identifying Sultan Faisal bin Turki bin Said bin Sultan and the Hijri year 1311. The entire design is contained within a beaded border. |
