| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse is printed in grey-blue and black on plain paper, enclosed within an ornate letterpress border of repeating floral and foliate guilloche motifs, with the denomination numeral 1000000 set in decorative cartouches at the top and bottom margins. The central field carries a fine geometric guilloche underprint over which the denomination is rendered in large Gothic blackletter script reading "Eine Million Mark", surmounted by the heading "Gutschein über". Below, a multi-line legal text in Gothic script states the note's acceptance by all public cashiers in the Siegkreis district, followed by the place and date of issue "Siegburg, 2. Aug. 1923", with the issuing authority designated as "Der Landrat i.V." and countersigned by a "Kreisdeputierter"; a manuscript signature appears above this latter title. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse is printed entirely in dark steel-blue by letterpress, enclosed within a bold geometric border of repeating zigzag and star-burst ornaments, with the denomination numeral 1000000 displayed in plain numerals on both lateral margins. A central rectangular vignette presents a landscape view of the Drachenfels — the prominent rocky promontory on the Rhine with the ruins of Drachenfels castle visible atop the crag — rendered in a detailed woodcut-style engraving with billowing clouds above and the river in the foreground; the caption "DRACHENFELS" is inscribed below the vignette. The district name "Siegkreis" is repeated in Gothic blackletter script within decorative banner panels at the top and bottom of the design. |
