Memo Euros are a Dutch commemorative novelty format — souvenir items designed to mimic European banknote aesthetics without carrying any monetary value. Enschedé's involvement is not incidental: the Haarlem firm has printed official Dutch state documents since 1703, and lending that technical credibility to a zero-denomination collectible is precisely the point. The print quality is deliberately high, with security-printing hallmarks that make the format attractive to collectors who care about production pedigree rather than fiscal function.
Feyenoord Rotterdam's version appeared in 2020, issued through Memo Euro Scope, which licenses the format to clubs, municipalities, and cultural institutions across the Netherlands.
