Enschedé's involvement lends genuine technical credibility; the Haarlem firm has printed banknotes continuously since the early eighteenth century and currently produces currency for multiple sovereign issuers.
The hologram strip meets the same specification used on circulating euro notes, which is partly the point — these are marketed on the tactile experience of handling something that feels official.
