| Obverse description | The right two-thirds of the obverse are occupied by a full-colour vignette of the Church of St. Mark in Zagreb's Upper Town (Gornji Grad), its distinctive polychrome tiled roof, Gothic portal, and bell tower executed in fine detail against purple and ochre tones. To the left, a large intaglio-style numeral '0' is framed by the twelve gold stars of the European Union, with the EU flag in blue and gold at the upper-left corner and the series designation '2024-1' printed alongside. The 'EURO SOUVENIR' logotype runs along the lower centre, accompanied by the facsimile signature of R. Faille (C.E.O.) and the serial number prefix HRAM at the lower right. |
