Oberthur Fiduciaire prints them to the same security specifications as genuine euro banknotes, which is partly the point: the tactile experience is authentic even if the monetary status is not.

Turku, known in Swedish as Åbo, was Finland's capital until 1812, when Alexander I transferred that function to Helsinki following the Russian annexation. The bilingual designation on this note reflects Finland's constitutional status as a country with two official languages — Swedish remains co-official, and Turku's Swedish name carries real civic weight, not mere tradition.
