EuroSouvenir notes occupy a peculiar niche — legal collector's items produced under official license from the European Central Bank, printed to genuine euro security specifications by accredited security printers, but with zero face value and no tender status anywhere. Oberthur's involvement here is not cosmetic; the firm holds full ECB accreditation, and these souvenirs are produced on the same equipment and with the same security features as circulating issues.
Mannerheim's selection for this Finnish edition is loaded. His career spanned the Russian Imperial Army, the Finnish Civil War of 1918, and command during both the Winter War and the Continuation War — a biography that remains politically contested in Finland to this day.
