Schloss Oberhausen, a neo-Gothic castle in the Ruhr city of Oberhausen, is better known today as a venue for cultural events than as aristocratic architecture, having been repurposed extensively through the twentieth century.

The series intentionally mimics the physical credibility of circulating currency, which has made authentication of the souvenir notes themselves an occasional problem for retailers unfamiliar with the program.
