They carry no monetary value and are not legal tender, but they are printed on genuine banknote paper with real security features, which is precisely what makes them interesting as objects. The Musée des Blindés in Saumur holds the largest collection of operational tanks in the world, a fact that gives this particular issue more institutional weight than the average cathedral or château edition.
