These notes carry no legal tender status anywhere — the denomination is purely nominal, and the European Central Bank has never sanctioned their use. The Palais des Rois de Majorque in Perpignan was built in the late 13th century under James II of Majorca, making it one of the few surviving structures from the short-lived Kingdom of Majorca, which existed as a separate entity from the Crown of Aragon between 1276 and 1344.
