| Opmerkingen |
The zero euro souvenir note program, administered by the European Federation of Verified Euro Collectors (VEFH) and printed exclusively by Oberthur Fiduciaire, has issued hundreds of location-specific notes since its commercial launch around 2015. They carry no monetary value and are not legal tender — Eurosouvenirs markets them as collectibles, with each site paying a licensing fee for an exclusive or limited print run. The Museo del Ferrocarril in Madrid, housed in the former Estación de Delicias, is a fitting subject: the station itself dates to 1880 and is one of the oldest surviving iron railway structures in Spain.
