Oberthur Fiduciaire prints them to full security-note specification, including embedded security thread and UV-reactive ink, which is a deliberate choice to prevent counterfeiting of a note worth nothing.
Gouézec is a small commune in Finistère, Brittany. "Karreg an tan" means "the fire rock" in Breton — a reference to local geology, specifically the flint-bearing formations in the area.
