His Occitan, not French, was the declared medium of the prize committee's recognition. The EuroSouvenir program, operated under license from the European Central Bank, has issued these zero-denomination collector pieces since 2015, printed by Oberthur Fiduciaire to full legal security specifications despite carrying no monetary value.
