| 正面描述 | Central vignette of a carrier pigeon perched atop a military helmet framed by two laurel branches, rendered in intaglio-style purple on a lilac guilloche underprint. The large denominational zero appears to the left, flanked by the dates 1914, 1916, and 1929. Inscriptions below the vignette pay tribute to the carrier pigeon of Verdun and the pigeon fanciers who died for France. |

| 备注 |
Fort de Vaux was the second of the two major Verdun forts to fall to German forces in 1916, its garrison holding out for seven days without water before surrender — the carrier pigeons used to call for relief became among the most cited episodes of the entire battle. The 0 Euro souvenir program, administered through licensed regional distributors and printed by Oberthur Fiduciaire to genuine euro security specifications, has issued hundreds of such notes since 2015. Legal tender nowhere, collectible everywhere.
