Sophie Beaujard, a principal engraver at the Banque de France, has contributed designs across the souvenir series. These notes carry no legal tender status anywhere, but the ECB-sanctioned program requires that they be indistinguishable in substrate and feel from real euro banknotes, which is precisely the point.
