| Opschrift voorzijde | CITTA' DEL VATICANO R SAN FRANCESCO D'ASSISI 1226 - 2026 MB |
| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a pair of open, outstretched hands at the center of the composition, with birds perched upon the fingers and foliage interwoven among them, symbolizing harmony with creation. A Tau cross, the emblem closely associated with Saint Francis, is prominently rendered at the center, accompanied by a depiction of burning incense rising in a stylized flame. Passages from the Canticle of Creatures — the celebrated hymn composed by Saint Francis — are inscribed in the original medieval Umbrian Italian along both sides of the design, framing the central imagery. The overall composition reflects the Franciscan themes of praise, humility, and fraternity with all living beings. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Jorge Prevost was elected Pope Leo XIV on May 8, 2025 — the first American-born pontiff in the history of the Church. This issue commemorates the Canticle of the Creatures, Francis of Assisi's 13th-century hymn in praise of creation, widely considered the earliest surviving major work of literature in the Italian vernacular rather than Latin.
The 0,75 Euro denomination places it in the Vatican's collector-oriented copper series, which carries no circulation function but legal tender status within Vatican City.
