备注

Camarillas is a village in Teruel province, Aragon — a municipality so small it barely registered in regional statistics. Like hundreds of similarly remote Spanish communities, it was forced to issue its own emergency fractional currency during the Civil War after Republican-zone coinage vanished from circulation almost entirely by late 1936. The Consejo Municipal stepped into that vacuum not out of ambition but sheer necessity.

These hyper-local emissions were produced under improvised conditions — often a local printer, sometimes a rubber stamp and hand-numbering — and circulated only within the issuing municipality. Survival rates are low simply because almost nothing was saved; to the people using them, they were utilitarian scraps, not collectibles.
