Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Zeus Serapis facing right, adorned with a lotus flower in the hair; a control letter E appears in the field behind the bust. The portraiture reflects the syncretic Hellenistic-Egyptian style characteristic of Sicilian civic coinage of the period, with fine drapery visible at the shoulder.
